It all started as a simple plate of pasta and some chocolate souffle...
As self-taught bakers, our very first customers were our parents. A small gesture of preparing a three-course homemade meal for them during the pandemic eventually turned into an unstoppable passion.
We founded our home bakery in Feb of 2021 to share our love for baking and giving with the world. Recognizing a lack of adequate options in local dessert shops catering to the multicultural palette of the San Francisco Bay Area led to the creation of unique flavors such as Ras Malai Tres Leches cake and Rose Crème Brûlée in the Lá Jawab kitchen.
Our focus has always been on delivering a cosmopolitan experience through our desserts. We sell aesthetically pleasing, unique-tasting, Asian-American fusion desserts. Our treats are made in small batches, using high-quality ingredients. Since our launch, we have transitioned from everyday cupcakes to elegant wedding cakes and elaborate dessert stations. From the assortment of flavors to various customizable design options, our menu celebrates diversity and happy moments in life.

Naiel: When I am not baking, I am busy designing fun logos or practicing volleyball drills.
Punhal: Outside the Lá Jawab kitchen, you will find me defending my soccer team as a goalie or practicing back flips in my gymnastics class.
